The Intel® Extreme Masters StarCraft II Ro64 is now open for signup!
Apply for a chance to compete at the largest IEM StarCraft II tournament to date!

Intel Extreme Masters World Championship Katowice 2017 will feature a prestigious StarCraft II tournament with the largest prize pool for StarCraft in IEM history, US$250,000. The tournament will feature a total of 76 players who will compete for the coveted trophy, valuable WCS points and a ticket to the WCS Global Finals.

On February 27-28, we will run the first stage of the tournament, the round of 64, to which everyone can apply for a slot. The application deadline is February 2 at 23:59 PST after which all of the sign ups will be evaluated and accepted in the following order, by WCS 2016 end result:

  • Winner of IEM Shanghai
  • Winner of IEM Gyeonggi
  • Top 2 players from Korea
  • Top 2 players from Europe, Africa and Middle East
  • Top 2 players from North America
  • Top 2 players from Latin America
  • Top 2 players from China
  • Top 2 players from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau
  • Top 2 players from Australia, Oceania, Southeast Asia and Japan
  • Top 48 globally ranked players

If any of the region-based slots cannot be filled, they will be added to the global pool.
