Samsung Galaxy and J Team join League of Legends lineup for Intel® Extreme Masters Gyeonggi
Samsung Galaxy to replace ROX Tigers and J Team to represent LMS at IEM Gyeonggi

In two weeks, League of Legends teams from around the world will compete for the Intel Extreme Masters Gyeonggi championship title at the Goyang Sports Complex in South Korea.

J Team will represent LMS at IEM’s final stop of 2016 and Samsung Galaxy will replace ROX Tigers as the second LCK representatives. ROX have forfeited their seed after failing to submit a full roster by the agreed deadline, leaving Samsung Galaxy and Kongdoo Monsters to defend their home turf at IEM Gyeonggi.

Samsung Galaxy finished fourth in the LCK Summer Split and made their way to a second place finish at Worlds, pushing the champion roster of SKT T1 to five full games in the finals. The squad have retained their lineup from Worlds with no changes, and are led by veteran Ambition.

Former World Champions Taipei Assassins are headed to IEM Gyeonggi under the new banner of J Team. J Team are currently in the top four of LMS and are looking to prove themselves on the international stage. Their ADC, BeBe, who once lifted the World Championship trophy, will try to show once again that he is worthy of a championship title.

We cannot wait to see what Samsung Galaxy and J Team will show us at IEM Gyeonggi! Pick up a ticket to watch the action live at the Goyang Sports Complex from December 16 - 18.

Remember to keep your eyes peeled to our Twitter and Facebook as we announce more teams attending in the next days.
