Søren "Bjergsen" Bjerg, solo mid of Team SoloMid, has been with the team for a year now, with them now all on their way to Intel Extreme Masters San Jose on the 6th and 7th of December.
Over on ESLGaming.com, Michal "Carmac" Blicharz managed to get an interview with the Bjerger King, where he spoke about the trials and tribulations of being a professional League of Legends player, his path to success and what lies ahead for both him and Team SoloMid.
Here are a few choice snippets from the interview:
- "Back then I thought someone else underperforming was their own problem when it's really a team's effort to get that player back on top."
- "I learned you can't just live and breathe the game, you need some time off - even just an hour a day will go a long way."
- "It's important you don't let some bad games or scrims affect your mentality, since lack of confidence can easily break a player..."
- "I'm gonna have real expectations of us doing well this year and taking at least top two or I'll be disappointed."
